The Payette River’s north branch flows through McCall, providing world-class whitewater for kayakers and canoers. Deer, eagles, fox and moose may all be seen along the river, which is surrounded by soaring pines and verdant marshes. In and near McCall, there are also various hiking and mountain bike paths as well as five golf courses.
